Dylan Sampson was placed on injured reserve by the Cleveland Browns. The second-year running back injured his left knee during the first quarter of last Sunday’s 34-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Sampson will miss a minimum of four games. He could be eligible to return before the Browns host the Baltimore Ravens on Oct. 18. Sampson is the second running back, behind Quinshon Judkins, as well as being one of the team’s kick returners.

Cleveland signed Jaleel McLaughlin off the practice squad to take Sampson’s place. McLaughlin was with Denver the past three seasons.
