Policy

Privacy

NewsJaws uses information to operate the site, respond to inquiries, and deliver requested updates. Reading-list and display preferences, including weather city and temperature units, may be stored in your browser. You can remove these through your browser's site-data settings.

Weather and market widgets

When enabled, third-party weather, market and sports widgets connect directly from your browser to their providers. These providers receive technical information including your IP address. Automatic weather uses approximate IP location, not GPS; a VPN or mobile network can produce a different location. You can select a city instead. NewsJaws does not add this location to article analytics.

Newsletter

Newsletter submissions are used to deliver requested NewsJaws updates and preference-based editorial briefings. Unsubscribe controls and consent records should remain clear wherever email delivery is configured.

Analytics and ads

NewsJaws uses analytics to understand site performance and advertising placements to support the publication. Advertising and analytics partners may process limited technical signals such as page views, device information, and ad delivery events.

Advertising on NewsJaws is served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

NewsJaws also keeps its own anonymous readership counts: which pages are viewed and read, the referring website, the words typed into our search box, and which links are clicked. These counts use no cookies and store no IP address or device identifier, and nothing is recorded when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
