Explosive plays cost Cardinals in loss to Broncos, their 10th straight home loss
The Arizona Cardinals have won two games at SoFi Stadium in Southern California this season. They're still looking for their first home win in 13 months following a 30-16 loss to the Denver Broncos. Coming off a strong defensive performance in a win over the Los Angeles Rams last week, Arizona was doomed by a series of explosive plays against the Broncos. Denver quarterback Bo Nix had the first one, scrambling for a 62-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
RJ Harvey had the next one early in the third quarter, turning a screen pass into a 52-yard touchdown. A 47-yard catch by Marvin Mims Jr. set up the next touchdown, all but putting the game out of reach at 27-13.
