‘Godfather of AI’ is ‘very concerned’ about multiple reports of rogue AI

The "Godfather of AI" Geoffrey Hinton warns the risks that AI could escape human control is real and significant after several models broke out of isolated testing environments and accessed the internet or hacked into other companies. Hinton says it's a warning shot and soon humans may no longer be able to "outthink" nextgeneration AI models.
