Jets WR Omar Cooper Jr. coming off IR, TE Kenyon Sadiq back from concussion for banged-up offense
The New York Jets will activate rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. from the injured reserve list and give a boost to a banged-up offense against New England on Sunday. The first-round pick has been out since spraining an ankle in Week 1. Rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq is also expected to play after being in the concussion protocol. Sadiq ranks second on the team in receptions. The Jets will be without running back Breece Hall and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell again because of injuries.
Left guard Dylan Parham and edge rusher Joseph Ossai will also be out, but linebacker Kiko Mauigoa and safety Dane Belton should play.
