Quinn Hughes isn't sweating contract talks with Wild

Quinn Hughes unwound after an especially eventful hockey season with the usual retreat to his lake home in Michigan. He would prefer if everyone would relax about his contract situation, too. Hughes reported to training camp on the final year of his current deal with talks in progress about an extension with the Minnesota Wild. Hughes said after the team's first practice that he simply hasn't been in a rush to think hard about it.

He arrived in Minnesota near midseason after a trade with Vancouver and set the franchise defenseman record with 53 points in just 48 games.
