Sergio Pérez signs two-year contract extension with Cadillac
Sergio Pérez has signed a two-year contract extension with Cadillac that will keep him with the team through 2029. The 36-year-old Pérez had considered retiring after a tough season. Cadillac is bottom of the constructors’ championship without a point. Pérez’s best finishes have been two 14th places. He says building a Formula 1 team takes time and he’s committed to the project. Pérez will celebrate his 300th F1 start at the Mexico City Grand Prix this weekend.
He plans to kick off the celebrations with a demo run in the city.
