Snedeker wants Americans to feel they're starting over in a Presidents Cup they always win

It's not quite like death and taxes, but the Americans winning the Presidents Cup seems like a certainty. They have lost only once since the matches against the International team began in 1994, and that was 26 years ago. U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker wants to instill in his team that past success means nothing at Medinah. The Internationals are hopeful of a home-course advantage on U.S. soil.

That's because their captain is Geoff Ogilvy, whose golf course architecture company did a redesign of the course. His team has four Presidents Cup rookies and has to overcome a quarter-century of not winning.
