Josh Hogan and Ned Beckley won four awards for the animated series Tales from Outer Suburbia at the 2026 Screen Music Awards in Brisbane, ABC News reported on 28 October. Their sweep covered children's programming, the opening theme, the soundtrack album and an original song, making the series the ceremony's leading winner.

The song award went to ‘Nothing Stays the Same’ and was shared with Joni Hogan. The other three awards recognised Beckley and Josh Hogan's music for the series. Variety Australia reported that the pair won all four categories in which they were nominated.

Addition wins Feature Film Score of the Year

The awards are presented by APRA AMCOS and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers. Variety reported that winners were named across 16 categories at Fortitude Music Hall, with actor and singer Rob Collins hosting the ceremony.

Gock and Wicks add three awards

Adam Gock and Dinesh Wicks won Most Performed Screen Composer – Australia for work on MasterChef, My Kitchen Rules and Travel Guides. They also took the overseas award for Con Girl, Lego Masters and Married at First Sight. Variety reported that the Australian honour was their 12th in that category.

Gock and Wicks were also among nine composers recognised for Million Dollar Secret, which won Best Music for Unscripted or Reality Television Series. The other credited composers were David Bruggemann, Rory Chenoweth, Lydia Davies, Brontë Horder, Adam Sofo, Mitch Stewart and Cassie To, according to Variety's winners list.
