Trump to meet acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez next week

The U.S. president has several meetings scheduled with world leaders during the United Nations General Assembly in New York City next week. According to Mike Waltz, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, he will have a casual "pull-aside" meeting with acting Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez. Waltz also said on Friday that he will meet with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.

This will be the first meeting between the U.S. president and Burnham since he became prime minister in July. He will also meet with leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which includes Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
