US Olympic gold medal-winners asking for trades shakes up the NHL landscape

Brady Tkachuk asked for a trade out of Ottawa and wound up in Florida. Connor Hellebuyck could soon be joining him in the U.S. after requesting out of Winnipeg. Dylan Larkin also asked for a trade from Detroit, while Zach Werenski remains in Columbus after a move he wanted failed to materialize. It is somewhat of a coincidence that all of them won Olympic gold with the U.S. and now want a change of scenery, though they understand what especially wanting out of Canada looks like from the outside.
