What can Democrats offer rural communities? This Wisconsin House candidate says ‘trust’

Democrat Rebecca Cooke is running to unseat Wisconsin GOP Rep. Derrick Van Orden in a district that has a lot of farm country. She says she'll do it by showing up in rural communities where Democrats have struggled for decades. What can she offer those communities that past Democrats haven't? She says: "Trust is the thing that I offer most because of my shared lived experience.

I grew up on a dairy farm in this district...so being able to communicate and talk with people and speak that rural language, I think, is what a lot of our party is missing."
