Yamamoto dominant as Dodgers beat Reds 4-0, edge closer to NL West title

Yoshinobu Yamamoto allowed one hit through seven innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-0 Tuesday night. The Dodgers reduced their magic number to clinch the NL West division title to two. Los Angeles wrapped up a playoff spot Monday and is still vying for the top seed in the NL. Yamamoto made his team-high 27th start, walking two and striking out seven. He allowed only a third-inning double by Elly De La Cruz.

Freddie Freeman returned to the Dodgers lineup and went 3 for 5. Teoscar Hernandez and Alex Freeland homered for Los Angeles.
